Apple iOS 17.1 update to address iPhone display image retention issue
Apple iPhone 15 series, especially the Pro models has been dealing with the display image retention issue but thanks to iOS 17.1, the update will address the defect with the stable release. That says the official feature notes of the respective iOS software.
Despite newly launched models, the iPhone 15 series continues to encounter many bugs and glitches. One of them has been the display image retention, which mimicked the screen burn-in scenario. Alongside the latest handsets, some iPhone 13 and iPhone 12 users also reported the same problem.
However, the good news is that Apple has addressed the flaw, and if you have been struggling with the display image retention issue on your iPhone, then you should update to the iOS 17.1 version.
At the same time, the firmware fixes other defects such as significant location privacy settings, or pairing an Apple Watch for the first time, and more.
