Apple iOS 17 has amazed iPhone users with incredible capabilities and one of them is the ‘Ping My Watch’ feature. Up to this point, we were only able to ping our handsets using the Apple Watch. However, the tech giant has now added a reverse function to this subject.

Yes, Apple iOS 17 brings the ‘Ping My Watch’ feature that lets you knock your smartwatch anytime. The feature resides in a new tile within the Control Center. It remains off by default although, you can turn it on and experience it with the latest iPhone update.

Just follow the instructions given below:

  • Open Settings
  • Scroll down and select Control Center
  • Tap on the + button next to Ping My Watch
  • Swipe down from the top right corner to open Control Center
  • Tap the new Ping My Watch button

Note that the respective feature remains active as long as your phone and watch are in Bluetooth range and connected. For longer distances apart, using the Find My app to ping your watch is the way to go.
