Apple iOS 17 lets you undo passcode changes. Yes! The latest software upgrade comes on the surface with several useful and amazing changes. However, there is a specific catch in this tweak. Let’s explore this matter in more detail.
With iOS 17, Apple added a new tweak that offers you 72 hours to make changes to your passcode. Eventually, it means that you have only three days to revert your decision on changing your passcode.
Thus, as long as you remember your original passcode, this facility is quite useful. From there, you can create a new iPhone passcode that you hopefully won’t forget. On the other hand,
if you enter the wrong passcode within 72 hours of making the change, iOS 17 will prompt you with a new Forgot passcode option on the iPhone’s Lock Screen.

Apple is always aware that not everyone will want their previous passcode to be usable. In the Settings app under the Face ID and Passcode menu, an option to Expire Previous Passcode also resides. This will render your previous passcode useless and mean that you aren’t able to use that passcode at all.
