Apple iOS 17 leak shows redesigned Maps direction for lock screen
Apple Maps will get a redesigned look with the iOS 17 upgrade. That says a new leak surfing on the online social media platform. As per the details, the American tech giant is planning to give a touch-up to the Maps application for the lock screen.
Recently, the new tipster @analyst941 shared a new image on Twitter surface. According to the details, it looks like Apple iOS 17 will bring a redesigned Maps app avatar for iPhone users. This implementation will enable new activities on the lock screen.
The details further suggest that by skipping the current outlook, the Apple Maps app will gain a full-screen directions display. It will show a hybrid view that will retain the date and time on the upper part of the screen. Meanwhile, the directions will take place in the lower part.
Moreover, the flashlight, camera controls, and notifications will occupy the bottom part of the display. Consequently, when you will tap on the notification, the map will remain in the background with a blurry effect.

It is worth mentioning that any of the lock screen widget does not appear in the screenshot, during the live activity of Apple Maps on the lock screen. Since it is a leak, we can not confirm how accurate will it be. However, it is a good implementation and would be better if the company take notice of this matter.
