Apple iOS 17 has introduced several new features alongside a quieter-than-ever notification sound. While many users showed their enthusiasm towards a fresh tone, there is a catch in this addition that has disappointed some of the iPhone owners.
The information reveals that the Apple iOS 17 notification sound is quite soothing to the ears. But if in case you don’t like it, you do not have the option to change it back. Eventually, several users disliked the fact that they could not alter the notification tone as per their requirements.
Meanwhile, a few people said that the new ‘Rebound’ sound is too quiet and one can easily skip it when the phone is kept inside a pocket or purse. Whereas, the ‘Tri-tone’ has a loud noise. Another drawback is – haptic feedback is weaker than the previous versions.
Note that you can still choose favorable ringtone, text tone, and alert sounds for voicemail as well as system apps. But these won’t influence the sounds of alerts from third-party apps. In simple words, the new upgrade has no controls to change the sounds from third-party apps. Let’s see what action will the company take on this matter in the time ahead.
