Apple iOS / iPadOS 16.2 official version may be released in mid-December
This week, Apple released the first beta version of the next round of software updates, including iOS 16.2, iPadOS 16.2, and macOS Ventura 13.1. A new report from Bloomberg today suggests that Apple is currently aiming to release these system updates to the public sometime in mid-December.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said in his latest issue of Power On that while Apple has completed the hardware release this year, there are still more software updates on the way. “The iOS 16.2 and iPadOS 16.2 updates started beta testing last week and should be released in mid-December.”
As far as I know, Apple is planning to roll out upgrades — including the M2-based 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros — in the first quarter of 2023, and pair those upgrades with the upcoming macOS Ventura 13.3 and iOS 16.3.
These software updates are expected to be released between February and early March. Apple iOS 16.2 includes a few changes, including the new Freeform collaboration app that Apple debuted at WWDC.
