Apple iPhone 15 Pro overheating could be a result of its excellent design

Apple iPhone 15 Pro has dynamic features and undoubtedly, its problems are also going to be huge! In recent times, several users reported that the newly launched Apple iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models are showing horrible overheating traits.

Digging into the details, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo determined that the overheating issue for iPhone 15 Pro models is not due to internal features such as the 3nm chipset but because of the excellent design. The observer said that a major reason behind this flaw is a compromise in the thermal system.

He further cited that the switch to a titanium frame is another reason, as it has made the device lighter than its predecessors. Here is what Kuo says:

“My survey indicates that the iPhone 15 Pro series overheating issues are unrelated to TSMC’s advanced 3nm node. The primary cause is more likely the compromises made in the thermal system design to achieve a lighter weight, such as the reduced heat dissipation area and the use of a titanium frame, which negatively impacts thermal efficiency.”

In terms of changes, the analyst said that the tech giant will resolve these issues via software updates. Although it would be worth seeing if Apple can make numerous improvements without affecting the chip performance.
