Apple kicks off iOS 17 developer beta 5 with more new features
Apple has started rolling out the iOS 17 beta 5 upgrade for developers. The latest firmware is arriving with some more new features and capabilities which add new life to your device. Besides, it brings improvements to some internal issues found in the last software build.

1. App Store
- Apple is no longer using all caps for download buttons in App Store.
- Get Open, Update, and other App Store labels in the title case
2. Live Voicemail
- New prompt for Live Voicemail which reads the following statement
“Your call has been forwarded to voicemail. The person you’re trying to reach is not available. At the tone, please record your message. When you have finished recording, you may hang up.”
3. Mood Tracking
- Refinements in the look of the mood tracking feature.
- New graphic on the mood tracking interface
- Different graphic options to denote each mood
4. Locked Private Browsing
- New Safari splash screen for private browsing
- Easily enables the locked private browsing feature and turns it on.
- Requires authentication with Face ID, Touch ID, or a passcode
5. Locate Siri Remote
- A new pop-up screen that lets reads a description of the feature
6. Shortcuts
- Revamped shortcuts in the Safari app
- Shows option like Search Web, Open URL, Filter Articles, and more
7. Messages Check In
- Refined the look of the Messages Check-In example screen
- The settings screen now shows the battery charge and iPhone unlocking information that is sent alongside the location.
