Apple has recently mentioned in the official developer release notes that the upcoming macOS 13.5 update will fix the long-troubling iPod syncing issue. The company has already started readying the new version and will push it off to Mac devices in the approaching days.
According to the latest information, Apple is testing the macOS 13.5 new update that can fix the iPod syncing issue. Though the tech giant pulled off the iPod shuffle in 2017. Eventually, this is a niche bug fix but it evokes nostalgia for the miniature music player.
Resolved Fixes
Fixed an issue where the iPod shuffle (3rd and 4th generation) cannot be synced due to an unknown error (-244).
