Apple macOS 14 Sonoma beta 3 is rolling out
Apple has released the macOS 14 beta 3 for developers with a few fixes and improvements. The latest firmware is rolling out only for testing purposes. However, we will soon hear good news for the public beta software upgrades by the end of this month.
According to the information, Apple macOS 14 beta 3 is rolling out with the 23A5286g version. Meanwhile, the release notes for this new software reads a few enhancements and changes for every aspect of the Mac devices. However, there are a few general issues that you should note before proceeding:
- Non-local files in iCloud Drive might fail to download and open after using Migration Assistant to set up a new volume.
- Workaround: Ensure the files are uploaded and synced to iCloud Drive on the source volume. Then the files will be synced from iCloud drive to the new volume.
- MP3 files with malformed ID3 tags will fail to play.

How to update?
Registered developers can download the beta through the Apple Developer Center. After installing the appropriate profile, the betas will be available through the Software Update mechanism in System Settings.
