Apple released iOS 14.2 and iPadOS 14.2, which is the second major update of the iOS and iPadOS 14 operating system. This new update brings many new features to the devices including new emojis, control center music recognition, Intercom, wallpapers, and more.
Other than the new features it also includes several bug fixes that were reported earlier with the iOS 14.1 update. These bugs include Photo widget issue, Reminders, problems with receiving and sending money via Siri, and many other bug fixes.

Apart from the iOS 14.2 and iPadOS 14.2, Apple also released watchOS 7.1 update for the Apple Watch users. This new update adds new features, improvements and also brings several bug fixes to the Apple watch.
It comes with added support for the ECG app on Apple watch series 4 or later and also adds support to irregular heart rate notifications in some regions. It also resolves an issue that prevented some users from unlocking Mac with Apple Watch.
How to download update on iPhone and iPad:
Users can download this update manually by heading to Settings > General > Software Update. The company also released a new iOS 12.4.9 update for its older devices.
How to download update on Apple watch:
- Open Settings in Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
- Open General.
- Tap Software Update.
- Tap Install.
