Apple releases iOS 16.5 open beta 4 for iPhone users

Posted on

Apple has dropped the iOS 16.5 open beta 4 for iPhone users in the market. After rolling out the firmware to developers for testing purposes and detailed verification, the manufacturer is now pushing it off to the general consumers.

To be specific, the new Apple iOS 16.5 open beta 4 is appearing one week after the launch of the third beta builds. Accordingly, we can not expect new features or additional elements in this firmware. However, this update will improve and address bugs found in the previous betas.

Notably, iOS 16.5 will bring two useful features and a bunch of interesting enhancements for iPhone devices. The list begins with a brand-new Sports tab in the Apple News application that makes it easier to access sports-related content.

Another one is the revamped Siri option that helps you operate or begin screen recording with a voice command. Further, users may find multi-viewing options for sports. Perhaps to grab these tweaks, users need to keep their handy gadgets up-to-date with newly released versions.

Hence, if you are an Apple fan who has already registered for the free beta testing program, then you can easily access the latest version on your handset. For enabling it, you need to follow a few instructions given below:

  • Open the Settings app
  • Scroll down and select the General section
  • Click on Software Update
  • Now tap on Beta Updates and choose iOS 16 Public Beta
