Apple has released a new update for iOS and iPadOS devices. The latest update brings the iOS 13.2 and iPadOS 13.2 OS.
The latest update brings many new features, including support for the new AirPods Pro earbuds, over 70 new or updated emoji, including animals, food, activities, new accessibility emoji, gender-neutral emoji, and skin tones selection for couple emoji.
This update includes a very important feature for the latest iPhone 11 devices – Deep Fusion. It is a new camera feature, an image processing system that leverages the A13 Bionic and the Neural Engine to take advantage of machine learning techniques for pixel-by-pixel processing of pictures.
If the environment is too dark, the camera switches automatically into Night Mode to improve brightness and reduce image noise. With Deep Fusion, anytime you take a photo in medium to low light conditions, like indoors, the camera will switch automatically into the mode to lower image noise and optimize detail.
Deep Fusion, unlike Smart HDR, works at the pixel level. If you’re using the “telephoto” lens on the iPhone 11 Pro or 11 Pro Max, the camera will drop into Deep Fusion pretty much anytime you’re not in the brightest light.
This means the iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max have optimized modes for bright light, low light and now medium light.
The update also includes a privacy option that lets users opt-out of sharing their Siri and dictation audio recording with Apple. It also adds an option to delete Siri and dictation history.
You can check for it by heading into the Privacy > Analytics and Improvements and Siri > Search. Additionally, Siri can now read incoming messages without having to unlock the device, works with second-generation AirPods and the Betas Pro.
The iOS and iPadOS 13.2 updates are available on all eligible devices over-the-air. You can check for the updates, just go to Settings > General > Software Update. For older iPhones still running iOS 12, Apple has also released an iOS 12.4.3 update with security improvements.
