Apple has released the watchOS 9.5 software upgrade with a new watch face and a handful of ultimate features. After successful beta testing, the company has now pushed off the latest iteration to general consumers in the smartwatch market.
According to the information, Apple watchOS 9.5 features a new Pride Celebration watch face. This addition is mainly imposed to honor the LGBTQ+ community and culture. On the flip side, the latest build accompanies several tweaks and fixes for wearables.
Describing more details on the watch face, Apple mentioned the following details about the watchOS 9.5:
“Inspired by multiple pride flags, this new watch face combines colors to represent the strength and mutual support of the LGBTQ+ movement. Mirroring the woven loops of the Sport Loop, each strand of vibrant thread contributes to the overall composition of the watch face. The colorful threads move as the Digital Crown on Apple Watch is rotated, the display is tapped, or the user’s wrist is raised.”
