Safari Technology Preview 148 includes bug fixes and performance improvements for Web Inspector, CSS Container, CSS, Forms, Animations, JavaScript, Rendering, Media, Web API, Security, Loading, WebDriver, and more.
The current Safari Technology Preview build is built on the Safari 16 update and includes support for features in macOS 13 Ventura such as live text, passkeys, web extension improvements, and more.
Apple’s purpose in launching the Safari Technology Preview is to gather feedback from developers and users on its browser development process. The Safari Technology Preview can run side-by-side with the existing Safari browser, and while it’s designed for developers, it doesn’t require a developer account to use.
