Apple has pushed off one more iOS 16.5 RC (Release Candidate) beta firmware for developers. The new build is rolling out a week after the first RC iteration. It looks like, we are just a few days away to grab the official iOS 16.5 upgrade.
The latest information reveals that the second Apple iOS 16.5 RC beta is available only to iPhone developers and public beta testers. To obtain the build, you must have already registered to Apple Beta Program to get the respective firmware on the handset.
According to the inputs, the second RC version is making its way over the air. However, you can try out the manual installation by heading towards the Settings menu of the device. Now swipe up and select the General section. Finally, choose the Software Update option and follow the on-screen instructions.
Apple iPhone developers can identify the newest RC version with the 20F66 build number. In terms of changes, the latest update includes some tweaks related to Apple News, wallpaper regarding Pride Celebration, and more.
Ahead, the testers could also find improvements for bugs and issues that appeared with the previous build. Alongside the iOS, iPadOS developers can also grab the RC version for the devices.
