Apple has silently started stepping into the AI pool and is reportedly working on new tech features for iOS 18, Xcode, the Apple Music app, and more. The company has started gearing development on this matter and we may soon hear some official inputs in the coming days.

To begin with, Apple will initiate AI features integration with iOS 18. The tech giant is likely to introduce smarter reply suggestions in Messages. Besides, we may see AI-generated playlists in Apple Music and relevant tools in some other apps such as Pages and Keynote.

On the other hand, the information suggests that a smarter version of Siri is in the making and could debut next year. Notably, AI tech in end-user features is one of the primary goals of Apple and the company is even ready to invest about $1 billion a year on AI research and development.

Simultaneously, the OEM is trying to enhance the developer experience with AI-enhanced features in Xcode. This may comprise advanced code completion similar to what Github offers. And you could even observe the AI-based tools AppleCare in the time ahead.
