Apple Tap to Pay feature now available in Brazil

Apple continues with the international journey of the “Tap to Pay” feature and the company has now taken a stoppage in Brazil. As of now, users and vendors in the respective region would be able to make contactless transactions without requiring any additional equipment.

The information reveals that the Apple Tap to Pay feature initially arrived for CloudWalk’s InfinitePay customers in Brazil. Thereafter, the company started rolling out the capability to more consumers including Stone SumUp (local payment platforms), Nubank, and other sellers.

It is worth mentioning that Brazil has a high rate of NFC-enabled device sales. Meanwhile, the Vice President of Apple Wallet – Jennifer Bailey cites that Brazil is a very entrepreneurial nation and the launched feature will become a big hit in the country.

Here, merchants would be able to make contactless payments using compatible iOS devices with the latest version. Tap to Pay is securely processed with NFC technology and doesn’t require extra hardware to make transactions.
