Apple to launch redesigned iPad Mini 6 later this year
According to the report from Mark Gurman via Power On newsletter, Apple is preparing to launch a revamped version of its iPad Mini later this year. The iPad Mini 6 is expected to come alongside large display Apple iMac models, while the exact date is not yet known.
The Cupertino tech giant has been working on MacBooks and iMac devices with some design changes and completely adapting its self-made Apple Silicon chips leaving Intel-based SoCs. The company will launch its next-gen chipset in the coming days and currently, it’s all M1 Silicon making its way to the Apple products.

Apple is going to make the biggest redesign in the past 9 years with its iPad Mini. The upcoming iPad Mini 6 is expected to get a major design overhaul and thinner bezels as well. It will be completely different from the previous one with the removed Home button.
While there is confusion related to the processor, Apple might have to launch several M-series processors to avoid confusion and differentiate its products based on the performance and price. Meanwhile, the tech giant could also use its A-series chips.
Alongside the new iPad Mini 6, Apple will also launch a new iMac model with a bigger display size. Currently, the M1-powered iMac comes in a 24-inch display size, while the upcoming will be of 27-inches. And the display size is the only upgrade that the iMacs are likely to get, while the other things remain unconfirmed at the moment.
