Apple is planning to design country-specific Apple Watch bands for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Although, the games are postponed until next year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Leaker LOvetodream twitted some images showing these new bands for the host country Japan and Denmark. The bands come with the country name printed on each band and are designed to match the countries national flag. These bands will be introduced along with the Summer Olympic which are now scheduled for July 2021.

Previously, Apple released these country-specific Watch bands for the Summer Olympics 2016, which were held in Rio de Janeiro. The bands were available for most of the countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, South Africa, New Zealand, Mexico, Japan, Jamaica, Canada, China, Brazil, Australia, Germany, and France. Earlier these bands were priced at $49 each and were only available at Apple store in Rio de Janeiro.
This time also Apple is planning to design such sports bands for the upcoming 2020 Olympics, which are now postponed to 2021. The availability of these bands could be limited to the host country. Although we expect Apple to widen the availability and also include some more countries on the list.
