Apple’s TV remote App from the App Store has been removed which was used to control Apple TV via iPhone or iPad.
This removal of the app was no surprise as the company already added the Remote feature in the control center with the iOS 12 update.

The app is unavailable on the App Store that means if users already have it, then they will not be receiving any updates for the app in the future.
If you don’t have the remote enabled in the control center then you can do it by going through Settings > Control center > then, move the Apple TV Remote in the control center.
Now, if you go through the Apple Support Website you can clearly find that there is no information regarding the app and the website only tells you about the Remote option in the iOS control center.
