Some Apple iPhone users may have noticed that recently some apps that have not been updated for a long time have suddenly been updated. One possibility is that the developer is actually at work, and the greater probability is that Apple is officially updating it.
According to MacRumors, Apple is currently updating code signing certificates for old apps to enable these apps to run on iOS/iPadOS 14.5. The update does not require developers to re-sign and deploy. Instead, Apple officially issues a new signature.
