Apple watchOS 10 is a giant software upgrade that comes along with several features, and one of them is the ability to directly add cards to your Apple Pay. Yes, now you can access the payment application through Apple Watch without using your iPhone.

The American tech maker has unveiled a variety of tools and tweaks at the WWDC 2023 event. However, the manufacturer saved a few features for later, to amaze its Apple Watch users. As of now, the prominent update is showing how it adds a new experience to your smartwatch.

According to the information, Apple Watch gains an “Add Card” option after installing the watchOS 10 upgrade that will combine your cards directly to Apple Pay. Earlier, users required the Watch app on iPhone to integrate a new card into the application but this process has changed with the latest version.

Once you tap on the mentioned option, you will be guided on how to set up Apple Pay. Here, you can fill in the details regarding the credit card number, expiration date, and security code from your watch itself. In short, you don’t need the handset to finish the process.
