Apple recently launched its new MagSafe wireless charger along with the iPhone 12 series which can charge the iPhones wirelessly using MagSafe technology.

Apple has also excluded the power adapter from the box due to the environmental concern and offered a 20W fast charger that users can purchase separately.

A recent video compared the speed of these two chargers and found that Apple’s Magsafe charger is two times slower than its wired 20W charger.

In the video, it was found that the MagSafe charger charged the iPhone from 0-50 percent in 1 hour, while the 20W wired charger took only 28 minutes. Although the MagSafe charger was faster than the traditional Qi charger but it made a difference of about 32 minutes with the 20W wired charger.

Now it is hard to choose between these two chargers as both have their own benefits. The 20W wired charger offers a faster charging whereas the MagSafe charges wirelessly.

Price can be a deciding factor between these two, there is a difference of $20 and you have to pay an extra $20 for a MagSafe wireless charger.
