Apple’s free programming software Swift Playgrounds 4.2 released

Apple has released Swift Playgrounds 4.2 update, providing an updated iPad interface and new courses focused on machine learning. Apple Swift Playgrounds is a free coding learning app available on iPad and macOS.

Moreover, the iPad version of Swift Playgrounds has an improved interface and supports customizable toolbars. Users can add their favorite items, and a new app preview tab allows users to quickly switch between multiple previews.

A new set of machine learning courses teach users to train apps to recognize images. Users can train the model through a game of rock, cloth, and scissors. Another class is “Layout View,” which challenges users to match UI models in code. In May, Apple updated Swift Playgrounds to version 4.1, allowing users to build Mac apps with SwiftUI.
