The latest reports show that Audi, which has announced that it will only launch pure electric vehicles from 2026, will cut production of its flagship luxury sedan Audi A8 at its German factory and increase production of the pure electric vehicle Audi E-Tron.

Moreover, the Audi A8 and Audi E-Tron are currently produced at Audi’s Neckarsulm plant in Germany, but Audi has not disclosed specific information on the production adjustment of the two cars.

However, the sources said in the report that Fred Schulze, manager of Audi’s Neckarsulm plant, has informed that while the production of the Audi A8 will be adjusted, the production of the Audi E-Tron GT will be increased.

The report shows that the Audi E-Tron electric car quickly became one of Audi’s most popular brands after its launch, easily surpassing the sluggish A8 in sales.
