August 2023 security update is rolling out for Nokia XR21

Nokia has started delivering the August 2023 security update to the XR21 devices. The update distribution is running at a snail’s speed for the moment. But that doesn’t impact the latest security improvements and bug fixes for these handsets.

According to the information, Nokia XR21 smartphone users have to download a software package of 96.85MB to grab the August 2023 update. Currently, the firmware is available to a handful of devices in the global market. Though the tech giant won’t take much time to begin a broader release.

You can check for the latest software update by visiting the system settings and following these instructions:

• Tap on Software Update
• CHECK FOR UPDATE

Once available, the phone will start downloading a new package and it may take some time depending on the internet connection.
