As AFK Gaming reported, the matter was also discussed with the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications. The Bangladesh Mobile Phone Users Association has called on PUBG to take necessary steps to curb the addictive nature of mobile and free fire.

The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications has identified gaming addiction among teenagers and young adults. The government has said it will take necessary steps to ban sports in a healthy manner to prevent overreaction.

Government officials are also aware that players can use VPNs after banning these games. Indian players have been playing PUBG mobiles since the ban using unofficial methods like VPN. The Bangladesh government has not actually said how to prevent players from using VPNs.

The news came just days after Garena announced a special free fire server for Bangladesh. The Bangladesh servers will go live on June 8 and Garena has already started pre-registration for the new server.
