BOE flexible display international standard officially approved by IEC
The international standard proposal of “Flexible Display Devices Part 2: Basic Ratings and Characteristics” proposed by BOE (BOE) is in IEC TC110 (International Electrotechnical Commission Electronic Display Technical Committee. The project was formally established.
BOE said that after the release of the standard, it will fill the gaps in international standards in the field of flexible displays.
According to reports, this international standard will stipulate the basic ratings and characteristics of flexible display devices, mainly including device types, structures, working modes, limit values, electro-optical characteristics, mechanical characteristics, etc.

The formulation of this international standard will officially start, and relevant experts and scholars from South Korea, Japan, the United States, Germany, and other countries will jointly participate in the development of the standard.
In addition to standard formulation, BOE has also achieved mass production of the first 6th generation flexible AMOLED production line in China. Since then, it has launched a variety of flexible folding products including internal and external folding.
