Call of Duty leaving behind the honor, glory, and beautiful aesthetic that is Season 3: Tokyo Escape and traveling back to the west with Season 4: Spurned & Burned arrives and brings Call of Duty: Mobile back to that rough, rugged, and untamed frontier.
Last week COD Mobile launched its new in-game update and our 80s Action Heroes event with Guns Blazing Mode, Rambo, and John McClane. That event is still ongoing, but with the Season 4 release, the developers have a new map, Battle Pass, events, Ranked Series, and much more releasing throughout the season.
As you’ll see on the roadmap below there is also plenty of content releasing later in the season and in the middle of that, they have this huge feature that you may have heard of called Clan Wars.

This is the story of Rambo, an Operator who recently arrived in Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War and WarzoneTM in the “Tracer Pack: Rambo Operator” bundle, available in the store only until June 18*.
In addition to this new Operator, the “Tracer Pack: Rambo Operator” bundle also includes two Finishing Moves, items for your player profile, and three Weapon Blueprints, including one that we’ll highlight below in our Weapon Blueprint of the Week.
Top Tip — Using the Combat Bow in Warzone
Here are five quick tips for using the Combat Bow effectively:
1. Pull!
Your right trigger (or command for firing a weapon normally) controls how far back you “draw” the bow. The longer you hold it, the farther you draw the bow back, allowing you to hit distant targets or reach closer targets more quickly.
Always keep this in mind when using the Combat Bow, lest you fire off an explosive arrow while in the passenger seat of a squadmate’s vehicle….
2. Lead Your Shots
In addition to minding your shot strength, you should be aware that arrows will take time to travel through the air toward their target.
Against moving targets, “lead your shot” by aiming ahead of them, in a similar manner to a sniper rifle shot. The farther out the targets are, the more “ahead” of them your aim should be.
3. “Close Enough” Counts for Horseshoes, Hand Grenades, and Bows
A direct hit on an enemy will score a down, but narrowly missing them will still count for some damage.
If your shot is barely off-target, follow it up quickly with another arrow, or have your squadmates clean up the kill.
Alternatively, there may be some moments when a direct hit may not be the best shot. Consider hitting a point between two enemies close together, or target an explosive piece of Equipment, such as a Proximity Mine, which can deal massive splash damage upon destruction.
4. Save It for Later
In some situations, using the Combat Bow may not be as effective as your loadout weapons, such as when an enemy is hundreds of meters away and you have a sniper rifle in your back pocket.
In this case, don’t worry about switching out from this weapon; it will stay on your Operator so long as you do not expend every arrow.
5. Not the Only Bow in Town
Love the Combat Bow? Then consider including the R1 Shadowhunter from Black Ops Cold War or the Crossbow from Modern Warfare® in your loadout.
These weapons are lethal with headshots, and the Crossbow specifically has an attachment that makes its bolts explosive, allowing you to potentially hit one-shot down and eliminations. While they aren’t as strong as the Combat Bow, they are still fun Primary Weapons to consider using, especially in Solo modes.
