CD Projekt Red set sales records in 2020 – $563 million in revenues, $303 million in net profit
CD Projekt Red has posted its final projected earnings for the final year 2020, with revenue of 2139 million PLN ($ 563 million) and records sales with a net profit of 1154 million PLN (3303 million). The final audited results will be shared on Thursday, April 22, but it is likely to be different.
In comparison, last year the CD Projekt Red managed only 521 million PLN in sales revenue (13 137.17 million) and 175 million PLN in net profit ($46.07 million). While the studio-recorded revenue of 798 million PLN (5,205 million) in 2015 and a net profit of 342 million PLN ($88 million), it is much higher than the results achieved with the release of Wicher III.

Of course, Cyberpunk 2077 had the advantage of releasing in 2020; The game only launched in early December, although sales peaked at 13 million units before the previous Christmas.

The Polish game developer has been aiming to continue selling the game for many years and is still improving Cyberpunk 2077. Update 1.21 landed on all platforms earlier this week, delivering a bunch of fixes to crashes and bugs.
