Huawei has started releasing a new update for its several smartphones including Huawei Maimang 9, Enjoy 20 5G, and Enjoy 9e. The new firmware update brings December 2020 security patch for improved system security and device stability and fixes 1 critical and 11 high levels of CVE’s.
Other than the security improvements this update does not bring any new features or optimizations for these handsets. Below you can check the models getting update along with their software version. The security updates are important for any device as it keeps the device protected against threats and viruses.
- Huawei Maimang 9 – EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.1.199
- Huawei Enjoy 20 5G – EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.1.167
- Huawei Enjoy 9e – EMUI 9.1 version 9.1.0.279

Download via Settings:
- Open Settings
- Click on the System & updates
- Open Software update
- Tap on Check for updates option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
