Download Google Calendar and manage events on your Wear OS devices
Google has started rolling out the Calendar app for Wear OS devices and it is now available to download on the Play Store. This new addition will help users to manage their events, tasks, and activities simply on their wrists. The app appears as Calendar in the launcher and exists alongside Agenda on the original Pixel Watch running Wear OS 3.5.
With the help of the Google Calendar app, you can open events to see precise details, like location, notes, notifications, and what something is saved to, and adjust on your Wear OS devices. Moving on, it also offers the options to Open on the phone and Delete events at the bottom, which saves you time.
In addition, there are more features available on the application including recognition of events, marking them as complete, and Syncing until. There are two new Wear OS Tiles for Next event and Next tasks, the latter of which shows two upcoming entries. More just opens the full app and is not a dedicated view.
In addition, there’s a Next Event Calendar complication while existing date complications will ask whether you want to open Google Calendar or the Agenda app going forward. But sadly, there’s no way to create events or tasks inside the wearable app.
