Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 series and Galaxy Flex with the One UI 2.1 in February 2020. The company rolled out the One UI 2.1 with popular features of the Galaxy S20 series to the Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy S10 series, and some other devices in March and April.
The company didn’t officially confirm the One UI 2.1 update status for the Galaxy Note 9 and S9 series yet. But Samsung’s community managers in different countries have already given opposing statements without the proper information.
Here’s the list of eligible Samsung devices that will get the One UI 3.0/Android 11
It is still not clear whether or not the One UI 2.1 update will come to the Galaxy Note 9 or Galaxy S9 series, but we now have an unofficial One UI 2.1 ROM port of the Galaxy S20 series for the Galaxy Note 9.
Thanks to XDA developer AlexisXDA for providing the first One UI 2.1 ROM port for the Galaxy S9 Note 9.
Note: It only works on the Exynos variant, not for Snapdragon. A device warranty may be void.

HOW TO INSTALL:
- Be sure to have latest MODEM & BOOTLOADER installed
- Download AlexisRom.zip
- Flash it through recovery
- Follow aroma installer instructions
- Reboot system
- First boot could take 15/20 minutes!
- After ROM booted and you are on the initial setup screen, go back in recovery and flash OneUIHOME FIX
