EA said the new game will be available on consoles and PC, a deal that gives it access to one of the most valuable companies in entertainment, largely thanks to the success of movies based on Marvel Comics characters.

Moreover, EA has previously cooperated with Disney, the parent company of Marvel, to develop games based on the “Star Wars” movie series for mobile devices, PCs, and consoles, so the two sides are not first time to cooperate.

EA previously announced that it was working with Marvel Games on an Iron Man-based superhero game. It will be a single-player, third-person action-adventure game that is still in early development.

The game was developed by EA’s Motive studio in Montreal, and the team is led by Olivier Proulx, the producer of “Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy,” so it’s pretty solid.

Additionally, the game will feature an original story rather than what you’ve seen in movies or comics. According to EA, the game will tap into Iron Man’s rich history, channeling the complexity, charisma, and creative genius of Tony Stark, allowing players to experience what it’s like to truly be Iron Man.
