Android as well as iOS devices pack several emoticons that make chats more fun and the latest Emoji 15.1 update promises some more additions to this theory. As per the revealings, the new development adds a total of 118 new designs.
Recently, the Unicode Consortium drafted the Emoji 15.1 update for both Android and iOS devices. To those who are unaware, the Unicode firm is responsible for the long list of emojis that reside in our handsets. It has a few popular voting members such as Google, Apple, and Microsoft which are free to obtain new concepts and craft them accordingly.
In the current scenario, the Unicode Consortium approved the Emoji 15.1 update which is full of 118 new emoticons. These additions can be split into different groups. For instance, the first group comprises individual faces with distinct movements and expressions.
The second group bears family emoji representing households in various forms. Meanwhile, the third one includes different human icons with directional movements. You can check the complete list below.
First Group
- Head shaking horizontally
- Head shaking vertically
- Phoenix
- Lime
- Brown mushroom
- Broken chain
Second Group
- Family – 2 adults, 1 child
- Family – 1 adult, 2 children
- Family 1 adult, 1 child
- Family – 2 adults, 2 children
Third Group
- A person walking facing right
- A person running facing right
- The person kneeling facing the right
- A person with a white cane facing the right
- A person in a manual wheelchair facing the right
- A person in a powered wheelchair facing the right
