Apple‘s popular supplier in China, Foxconn restarts the manufacturing of iPhone devices in the region. Initially, the production activity is partially taking place in slow movements. Yet, it remains a piece of good news for both, the American tech giant as well as Apple consumers.
In our previous article, we described the China government imposing Lockdown in Shenzhen. As a result of which, the company had to put its iPhone production on halt. However, the local authorities exclude the firm with a statement of working in the “closed-loop” terms as they attempted in Wuhan at the initial stage of COVID-19 conditions.
Before moving ahead, let us understand the meaning of “Closed-Loop”
Meaning of Closed-Loop
Closed-loop is a system, where the employees are allowed to only travel from their house to the workplace. According to the Taiwanese company, the employees don’t move to any other place except the company and home.
Consequently, using this method, Foxconn has started proceeding with iPhone manufacturing in China. However, as there is a complete lockdown in the entire area, the production remains at a slow pace for the current moment. The government also approves the way where the company uses a particular means of transport. This means facilitating the employee directly from home to firm and vice versa without any other exposure.
On the other hand, Foxconn had initiated backup plants that gradually increase the gain of the firm. In this way, slowly and steadily, the company will be able to get away from the damage of income and productivity.
