Samsung has started rolling out the December 2024 security update for Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 users in the US. This update is initially available for carrier-locked models on Verizon and improves system security and stability.

Key Highlights of the Update:

  • Improved Security: Over 45 vulnerabilities have been addressed, including 6 critical and 28 high-severity issues identified by Google.
  • Samsung-Specific Fixes: 2 vulnerabilities related to Samsung’s semiconductor products have been resolved.
  • System Enhancements: Fixes related to Theme Center, Galaxy Watch Bluetooth, SmartSwitch, and DeX Mode ensure smoother functionality.

The update comes with firmware versions F956USQS2AXKF for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and F741USQS2AXKF for the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
