Recently, Samsung rolled out the second One UI 2.0 beta update for the Galaxy S10 5G smartphone in Korea and it added one important and useful feature as a security point of view – 3D Face Unlock.
According to a twitter user, the Galaxy S10 5G is now supporting the 3D Face Unlock, much like Apple’s iPhone 11 and Google’s Pixel 4. With the latest beta update, it made the Galaxy S10 5G’s front ToF sensor more useful.

On the One UI 2.0, the Galaxy S10 5G is using both the ToF camera (S10e, S10, and S10+ missed ToF ) and the regular front-facing camera for the 3D Face unlock feature.
This feature is currently limited to Galaxy S10 5G users taking part in the One UI 2.0 beta program in Korea. We believe it will soon arrive in other regions.
To translate, the S10 5G got Pixel 4/Mate 20 Pro/Mate 30 Pro/iPhone 11 style 3D face unlock with the Android 10 update. The TOF sensor was there, but Samsung was never using it for face unlock. https://t.co/a5l3kDNHYJ
