Samsung is set to bring major updates to its Bixby assistant and experiment with a new Galaxy S25 Slim model. The Galaxy S25 series, expected to launch early next year, will be the first to showcase the upgraded Bixby globally, while the Slim model may arrive in limited quantities by mid-2025.
Bixby Assistant Gets Smarter with Galaxy S25
Currently, Samsung’s enhanced Bixby assistant is available only on the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition (W25) and W25 Flip in China. This version of Bixby is smarter, capable of pulling more app data, offering advanced interactive guides, and understanding natural language even better.
Reports suggest this exclusive Bixby upgrade won’t stay in China for long. According to industry insiders and a report from Korea, the Galaxy S25 series will be the first to bring the new Bixby features worldwide.

The Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution (1440 x 3120 pixels) and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, similar to the Galaxy S25 Plus. The display size is technically 6.66 inches but will be marketed as 6.7 inches.
