Google is constantly offering amazing AI capabilities to its applications and it’s time for ChromeOS to adopt some of these. The US tech giant is now bringing a new AI writing feature for Google ChromeOS that will make relevant tasks more convenient.

According to the details, Google is working on a new project with five codenames integrated into it. Three of these are Ocra, Mako, and Mania which ultimately hint at the AI functionalities for ChromeOS.

For instance, Ocra will be helpful to edit a body of text. On accessing it from a right-click menu, it will open the Mako UI in a bubble over the screen. Ahead, Mako has three primary operations – request rewrites, preset text queries, and insert the rewritten text.

However, AI rewriting is possible with the help of Manta which sends original text to Google’s servers and then transformed it into an AI-enhanced version. In this way, all these codes will help in boosting the functions and align them is sequence.
