Google’s app is about to become even more helpful. Soon, you can use it to find things on your phone, not just on the internet.
Imagine typing “call mom” into the Google app and seeing her contact pop up. Or searching for a game and finding it among your apps. This is what Google is working on. You’ll be able to find contacts, apps, and even your phone’s settings directly in the Google app.
This new feature will work on most phones, not just Pixel phones. And don’t worry about privacy. You can choose if you want to see contacts, apps, and settings in your search results.
This is still being tested, but it looks like Google is getting closer to making it available to everyone.
