Google discontinues Pixel Pass subscription for new customers
Google has marked a full stop on Pixel Pass subscription for new users ahead of the Pixel 8 series launch. Pointing out the reasons, the US tech giant said that the company wants to focus on delivering more valuable and flexible services to its consumers.
So far, Google has introduced a Pixel Pass subscription with the Pixel 6 series. To those who are unaware, this facility bundles your picks such as Pixel phone, preferred care protection, Google One cloud storage, YouTube Premium, Google Play Pass, and Fi Wireless service at a $45 monthly fee.
However, the capability is only available in the US, and not every user seems to be a big fan of it. Hence, the company decided to pull it off for new users and announced some changes on the new support page. This facility has been discontinued as of August 29, 2023.
In case you are an existing customer then don’t worry as these changes won’t affect you in any manner. Although, you can enjoy this plan until the end of the two-year term.
