It’s June 2023 and Google is rolling out a new and interesting set of features for Android and Wear OS devices. Amid Android 14 developments and June Feature Drop expectations for Pixel, the company is pushing off some ultimate benefits for all types of handy gadgets.

So without any further ados, let’s explore these new tweaks.

The list of features for Google Android and Wear OS begins with a prominent element – Reading Practice. As the name reflects, the functionality will help users to polish their comprehension and vocab skills using their smartphones or tablets.

Eventually, this addition will be a part of Google Play Books. Within the application, you can access a dedicated section that will let you rehearse reading with your kid. The option is also available for thousands of children’s books, of which some are free as well. Hear the pronunciation of unknown terms, or just practice mispronounced words and get feedback in real-time.

More New Widgets!

Yes! The manufacturer has aligned three new widgets in this list to customize your handset with more effective shortcuts. These widgets are related to Google Finance, Google TV, and Google News. Get quick entrance to your important investments, personalized watch suggestions at a glance, or the latest news and headlines, right on your home screen.

Emoji Kitchen – Have more fun

Another eye-catching part of this list is the Emoji Kitchen. You can now remix your favorite emoji into stickers and send them as ordinary messages using Gboard. To settle down summer, the tech giant added new aquatic-themed emoji combinations.

Spotify, Wallet, and Keep on Wear OS

As mentioned, the feature list is not only limited to Android but also comes across wearable. Now you can listen to your favorites and a personalized music lineup just from your watch. With the AI DJ services, you can access the special radio host from your wrist.

Pay attention – DJ is only available in the US, UK, Canada, and Ireland, to Premium subscribers. Meanwhile, you will find new tiles and watch face to enjoy Spotify. Next, use Google Wallet live in San Francisco Bay Area or Washington, DC, for your transactions, and access SmarTrip and Clipper cards as well.

On the other hand, you will see a new tile for fast access to a selected note or to-do list on your watch with Google Keep.

Get Dark Web report on your Gmail

Earlier, this helpful tool was only available for Google One users. However, the company has now availed the Dark Web report for Gmail account holders. This feature allows you to make a one-off scan to know if your Gmail ID has leaked on the dark websites, and tells how to protect yourself when online.

Thus, these features are enough to drop an ultimate experience on your Android smartphones, tablets, and your wrist gadget.
