Google is likely to bring custom chipsets for Pixel devices

Amid Android 14 developments, Google is also working on custom chipsets for its Pixel devices. The latest inputs reveal that the US tech giant is working to replace Samsung with TSMC for Tensor 5G production.

Up to this point, the Android developer was attached to Samsung for the current generation Tensor processor. Although things will take some significant changes for the upcoming SOC products. As per the points noted by TheInformation site, Google is developing fully custom chipsets for Pixel devices.

Further, the report says that the next customized chip will be known as Tensor G5 in the market. It will uproot over the TSMC’s 3nm technology node. However, mass production will possibly begin by the next year.
