Google is testing a persistent bottom bar tweak for Play Store

Posted on

Google never misses a chance to frame its devices with new enhancements. In the latest development, the company is testing a persistent bottom bar for the Google Play Store. Eventually, this change will not only give a new outlook to the app but make the relevant features more effective.

According to the information, Google Play Store is getting a new change (bottom bar) where the navigation features remain when you open an app listing. This persistent bottom app bar appears when no active tab is selected. Tapping a section takes you there immediately with a back gesture to return to the previous page.

Note that this change does not appear in search results, Manage apps & devices, or Pending downloads. However, it makes operations seamless, especially when you’re on the App or Game main feed.
