Google Pixel 6a starts getting June 2022 security update

A few weeks ago, Google officially announced the Pixel 6a device with the Android 12L operating system out-of-the-box. And now, Google released a new security update for June 2022 on its new smartphone Pixel 6a. This includes more useful system performance improvements and security control changes.

According to Verizon, the latest update for the Pixel 6a comes with the upgraded build number SD2A.220601.004. This is the first update for the Pixel 6a and the device will soon be ready for the Android 13 update. Google plans to release a new August 2022 security patch for eligible devices early next month.
