After a long wait, Google has finally started rolling out the new September 2023 security update (Android 13) for Pixel devices including Fold and Tablet. Meanwhile, phone users have locked their eyes on the Android 14’s development progress.
Speaking of the latest security update, Google Pixel handsets are getting the latest September 2023 patch with 22 fixes. In addition, the company has addressed one additional exploit for a Mali vulnerability that may be under limited, targeted exploitation.
For starters, the tech giant is releasing these new safety improvements in batches and it would usually take about a week or two to reach all of the users. By that time, you can sneak peek into the Settings app > System > System Updates and then tap on the Check for Update.
Note that there are separate builds for Verizon. T-Mobile and other carriers. The newly released update is arriving with the TQ3A.230901.001 version for devices ranging from Pixel 4a 5G to the latest launched Fold and Tablet.
