Google Play restricts some Android users to redeem credits

Posted on

Google often rewards its users via credits on the Play Store but in recent times, some Android device owners reported that they are unable to redeem credits and encounter an error message while trying to make a purchase.

To those who are unaware, your Google Play balance is credit that you can use to buy apps, games, and digital content on the Play Store. You can further redeem gift cards or use a promo code.

However, the information reveals that Google Play credits are restricting some users to redeem their offerings. Several individuals on Reddit and the Support forum shared their experience on this matter and mentioned the presence of an error code on the screen.

“An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again later. [OR-DFGT-02]”

Google hasn’t addressed this issue till now. Although, there is an old posting on the official support page for if you fail any Play Store transactions. You can check it right HERE.
