Amid Android 14 developments, Google is working on an interesting eSIM transfer feature. It seems as if the US tech giant is trying to follow in the footsteps of Apple, making the device network as well as the communication sector more efficient for its users.
Diving into the details, Google is testing the eSIM transfer feature in Android that will enable users to easily swap their eSIM between multiple devices. At a time when there is no way to move this capability to different devices, it would be a great move by the tech maker.
However, things will be different from that of Apple. Android users will be able to move eSIM using QR codes. All you have to do is, scan a QR code and begin the transfer process. The process isn’t live, as the eSIM transfer itself still doesn’t have any launch window from Google.
Yet, we may find some input on this matter in the coming days.
